Fountain Street Design was started, and is owned and operated, by Tim Guetschow.

Tim graduated from South Central College with a degree in Commercial Art and has been in the graphic art/design field since 1999.

He is located in Mankato, Minnesota and provides his graphic design services anywhere they are needed.

Business philosophy

For a business to be most profitable, above all, it must be honest in all its dealings and in all its relationships. These relationships include clients, suppliers, and partners of every kind.

A business must seek to serve, and work for the benefit of the client. This beneficial service must be the ultimate goal in all dealings, services, and products, both internally and externally.

With these two concepts at the foundation, a long term, high quality relationship between provider and client can be built that will be beneficial and profitable for both parties.

What makes a succesful design?

There is a lot to think about when designing a logo, business card, ad campaign, etc. Every design sends a message. A successful design must effectively communicate its message to its target audience. To accomplish this goal, all elements of the design must cooperate to send this message.

In order for the designer to create a design that sends the right message, he must understand the message himself, and understand its intended audience. To obtain this basic understanding, he must learn from the subject matter expert, the client.

This is why I get to know you. Not only to understand your needs, but to understand the needs of your customers and clients.
